Despite the financial crisis and all the international madness about all the businesses shrinking, Ladbrokes PLC, the company that is currently holding the Ladbrokes Poker room managed to post some great financial figures for last year.

Ladbrokes is a public traded gambling company. You will be able to find it at the London Stock Exchange market with the LAD symbol. Ladbrokes is popular not only because of the online gambling websites (poker, casino, sportsbook) but they are also operating a well respected network of betting shops all across the UK.

And here are the figures. The profits of Ladbrokes were £1,029.4 million in 2007 and went up to £1,143.9 million in 2008.This is an increase of 11.1%, which proves once again that gambling online and offline is not affected.
