Phil Ivey is a professional poker player, considered to be the Tiger Woods of poker. He is right now one of the most successful poker players in the world.

Phil Ivey was born back in 1976 and spent most of his early years in a suburb of New Jersey. He started to play poker when he was a teenager. He found a great way to win some money, a way that is mostly unknown to people at that age. His first job was working as a telemarketing salesman, but in the same time he took a lot of time to study and play poker in order to beat his friends. During those times he had the following nickname: “No Home Jerome”.

One of the main characteristics of his game play is that he is very aggressive. Also since he is a professional poker player you are certainly going to find it very difficult to read his face. You will see Phil Ivey to be almost sad even in jackpot situations, this way no one can see or understand what’s going on. He is a fan of the iPod and the L.A. NBA team.

The statistics made by other online poker websites are claiming that Phil Ivey managed to win so far more than $7 million.
